At Oakley Food Projects, we design and deliver cutting‑edge food, beverage and clean‑room facilities across the UK — and business is growing fast. We’re now looking for a driven Business Development Executive to help us open doors, start conversations and turn opportunities into long‑term partnerships.
The role
You’ll be on the front line of our growth, engaging food and beverage manufacturers and uncovering real project opportunities. This is a high‑energy sales role for someone who enjoys conversations, asks smart questions and isn’t afraid to challenge prospects.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Qualify leads through insightful questioning and active listening.
- Hit clear KPIs (80-100 calls per day, 22 contacts, 5 qualified leads a week).
- Keep our CRM (HubSpot) accurate and up to date.
- Track market trends and competitor activity.
- Play a key part in expanding Oakley’s market presence.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in cold calling, consultative selling and lead generation (construction industry experience desired but not essential).
- Confidence using HubSpot or similar CRM systems.
- Strong communicator who builds rapport quickly.
- Self‑motivated, organised and accountable.
- Commercially curious with a problem‑solving mindset.
