We specialise in turnkey design, build and fit‑out of production, clean‑room and temperature‑controlled facilities.
Role Overview
As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the electrical design and specification of fit‑out projects, producing detailed technical drawing plans for power distribution, lighting, fire detection and alarm systems. You will collaborate closely with the Pre‑Construction and Operations teams, electrical contractors, and use BIM (Revit) software to deliver compliant, value‑engineered designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical design and specification of fit‑out projects.
- Produce detailed technical drawings for power distribution, lighting, fire detection and alarm systems.
- Ensure tasks are completed to strict deadlines and client expectations.
- Coordinate packages and produce high‑level drawings that are functional, safe and compliant with Building Regulations.
- Follow specifications and calculations to produce accurate drawings for food factories and related facilities.
- Communicate and collaborate with electrical contractors to develop designs.
- Consider build costs and pursue value‑engineering opportunities.
- Ensure final designs comply with commercial building regulations.
- Utilise BIM (Revit) and other resources to design required systems.
Experience & Skills
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Experience creating detailed schematics and drawings in the commercial industry.
- Strong attention to detail and solid discipline knowledge.
- Knowledge of construction processes and their relation to technical design.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and precision in design implementation.
