Summary
The Senior Revit Designer plays a crucial role in the early stages of factory design and expansion projects. The role supports conceptual and technical design work, collaborates with clients and internal teams, develops pre-construction documentation, and prepares accurate, compliant design information required for tendering, pricing, and project handover. You will work closely with the Pre-Construction, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, buildable, and aligned with client objectives. This role bridges creative design with technical feasibility.
Responsibilities
- Produce pre-construction technical drawings, layouts, and models to support client proposals.
- Create detailed technical drawings for production areas, cleanrooms, warehouses, food prep spaces etc. that meet industry regulations.
- Prepare technical schematics for power distribution, lighting, fire detection, and other facility systems in collaboration with specialist designers.
- Develop compliant drawings aligned with building regulations.
- Work cross-functionally with the Sales, Pre-Construction and Operations teams to ensure technical accuracy and design feasibility.
- Prepare cost-informed designs, integrating value engineering principles to meet budget expectations.
- Support estimating activities by providing precise drawings and design-related cost inputs.
- Attend site visits with Sales/Pre-Construction to understand client needs and constraints.
- Provide design updates and clarify technical details to clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Support with preparing design visuals and supporting materials for client presentations.
