Oakley Coachbuilders have an on-site vacancy for a skilled or trainee coachbuilder at their family‑run luxury manufacturing business at the Attleborough NR17 branch. An interest in the manufacturing and engineering automotive industry is key.

The successful applicant will ideally have some experience in the following:

  • Working with a range of air, power and hand tools.
  • Working with a range of materials: stainless steel, fibreglass, aluminium, ply hardwood and softwood.
  • Welding experience is advantageous.

The successful applicant will be highly motivated and ideally have experience in the manufacture and fabrication of vehicles/motorhomes/horseboxes. The role requires working to a high standard, so an eye for quality and attention to detail will be essential.

You should have the following key skills:

  • Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of craftsmanship.
  • Experience working independently, and collectively within a wider team.
  • Willingness to learn is key but full training will be given.

A competitive rate of pay will be awarded dependent on experience. Monday‑Friday (40 hours per week) with opportunities for overtime as required.
