Oakley Coachbuilders have a vacancy for a trainee coachbuilder at their family‑run luxury horsebox manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will have an interest in the manufacturing and engineering automotive industry. Willingness to learn is key but full training will be given. An eye for quality and attention to detail will be essential.
Key Experience & Skills
- Experience in any of the following would be beneficial:
- Working with a range of air, power and hand tools.
- Working with a range of materials: stainless steel, fibreglass, aluminium, ply, hardwood and softwood.
- Metal fabrication, woodwork or welding experience is advantageous.
- Maintain and develop technical skills as required.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Have the ability to work well within a team.
- Excellent time keeping.
Employment Terms
A competitive rate of pay will be awarded dependent on experience. Monday‑Friday (40 hours per week) with opportunities for overtime as required.
