Role Description
Oakley Coachbuilders have an on-site vacancy for a skilled or trainee coachbuilder at their family‑run luxury manufacturing business at the Attleborough NR17 branch.
An interest in the manufacturing and engineering automotive industry is key.
- The successful applicant will ideally have some experience in the following:
- Working with a range of air, power and hand tools.
- Working with a range of materials: stainless steel, fibreglass, aluminium, ply hardwood and softwood.
- Welding experience is advantageous.
The successful applicant will be highly motivated and ideally have experience in the manufacture and fabrication of vehicles/motorhomes/horseboxes.
The role requires working to a high standard, so an eye for quality and attention to detail will be essential.
You should have the following key skills
- Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of craftsmanship.
- Experience working independently, and collectively within a wider team.
- Willingness to learn is key but full training will be given.
A competitive rate of pay will be awarded dependent on experience.
Monday‑Friday (40 hours per week) with opportunities for overtime as required.
