I am supporting a well-regarded, multi-site education organisation in North London to appoint an experienced HR Advisor on a short-term fixed term basis. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role supporting managers and staff across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll provide practical HR guidance, manage a varied ER caseload, and ensure day-to-day HR operations run smoothly and compliantly.
What you’ll be doing:
- Acting as first point of contact for HR queries (mailbox/triage)
- Supporting managers with ER matters (absence, performance, conduct, probation, family leave)
- Drafting HR documentation (letters, contracts, variations) and maintaining accurate records
- Liaising with occupational health and external providers where needed
- Supporting HR data, reporting and HR systems administration
What we’re looking for:
- Solid HR advisory experience in a busy environment
- Confident handling ER and providing pragmatic guidance to managers
- Highly organised, detail-focused and able to juggle competing priorities
- CIPD qualified (or working towards) is desirable
