Oakleaf is proud to be partnering a leading global business in their search for a Learning Business Partner to join them. This role will sit in their Customer Service Group reporting into the Head of Learning.
The Role:
This role is responsible for leading the development and implementation of learning and development strategies that align with organisational objectives. The position works collaboratively with multiple business areas to identify capability needs, design and deliver effective learning solutions, and evaluate their impact on individual and organisational performance. A key focus for the role is successful business partnering, connecting the learning experience with business performance, as well as strong stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned to organisational goals.
- Business Partnering: Act as a strategic partner to designated business areas, identifying skill gaps and learning opportunities for teams and individuals.
- Stakeholder & Partnership Management: Own and manage relationships with external or remote partner teams relevant to the business area.
- Programme Design & Delivery: Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and deliver impactful learning programmes across multiple formats, including in-person, virtual, digital, and blended learning.
- Performance Consulting: Partner with leaders to diagnose performance challenges and recommend learning or non-learning interventions that support business outcomes.
- Vendor Management: Source, manage, and evaluate external learning providers to ensure quality, relevance, and value.
- Budget Management: Manage learning budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and demonstrable return on investment.
- Evaluation & Reporting: Measure the effectiveness of learning initiatives using feedback, assessments, and performance data, and report on outcomes.
- Change Enablement: Support organisational change initiatives by providing learning and development solutions that enable successful transitions.
- Thought Leadership: Maintain awareness of emerging learning trends, tools, and technologies to promote continuous improvement and learning culture.
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and support learning team members to deliver learning strategies effectively.
Candidate Profile:
