With an international client base and ambitious growth plans, including a recent relocation of their UK headquarters to Surrey, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of a dynamic and fast-growing business.

Our client is seeking an experienced and hands‐on HR Manager to lead core HR functions and provide strategic guidance during an exciting phase of expansion into new markets. This role will report into the CEO and have one direct report.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.

Provide expert advice on employment law and implement HR best practices.

Lead and deliver initiatives related to talent management, employee engagement, learning & development, and succession planning.

Handle complex employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, grievances, and disciplinary processes.

Oversee right‐to‐work checks and skilled worker visa processes.

Act as a trusted advisor to managers, providing coaching and practical HR support.

Collaborate with the Finance team on payroll and HR data processes.

Maintain and optimise HR systems (e.g. Sage HR), ensuring data integrity and usability.

Serve as the first point of contact for all HR‐related queries, supporting the organisation\’s growth and operational goals.

About You

Proven experience in an operational HR role (HR Manager or HR Business Partner), ideally within engineering, energy, technology, or a similarly fast‐paced industry.

CIPD qualified (Level 5 or 7 preferred).

In‐depth knowledge of UK employment law, recruitment, compliance, and HR policies.

Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels of the business.

Experience developing high‐potential talent and driving engagement initiatives.

Tech‐savvy, with proficiency in MS Office and HR software (e.g. SageHR).

Proactive, solutions‐focused, and able to thrive in a growing, dynamic environment.
