An established and growing organisation is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to deliver a comprehensive, proactive and high-quality generalist HR service across multiple sites. This is a varied and fast-paced role with a strong focus on Employee Relations, while also supporting the full employee lifecycle and contributing to wider people initiatives and organisational development projects. The successful candidate will be confident managing complex ER matters, advising managers at all levels, and working independently across a dispersed workforce.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a range of ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and redundancy.
- Advise managers on employment law, policies and best practice.
- Conduct investigations, hearings and appeals.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, probation and HR administration.
- Ensure policy compliance and maintain accurate HR records.
- Build strong relationships with managers and coach on people matters.
- Contribute to engagement, wellbeing and change initiatives.
- Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor role.
- Strong Employee Relations experience.
- Sound knowledge of UK employment law.
- Confident managing multiple priorities independently.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) desirable.
