Oakleaf is proud to be partnering with a forward-thinking manufacturing and construction business in their search for a Learning and Development Advisor. You will report into the Learning and Development Manager based in London. This role is based in East Riding, 30 mins from Hull and 45 mins from York. It is 5 days a week based onsite in a factory setting.
The Role
As an L&D Advisor you will be responsible for identifying the training needs of the staff onsite so that they are suitably qualified and competent in the role. The scope includes partnering with the Health and Safety team to make sure that all mandatory training is completed and staff are 100% compliant to be working. A big focus on this role is supporting the apprentices, making sure that they are completing the required training to ensure they pass their qualifications. You will work with managers to identify training needs across the whole business and identifying, creating and delivering where appropriate training programmes and workshops.
Candidate Profile
This role will suit an experienced L&D professional or a generalist who is looking to specialise in L&D. You must have clear verbal and written communication with the ability to express information clearly and concisely. You will have excellent stakeholder management, being able to build internal relationships and trust quickly. You will be able to work well independently, under pressure and to tight deadlines. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications.
