This is an opportunity for an experienced recruiter to take ownership of hiring across trading and quantitative research functions in Europe, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to attract exceptional talent in highly competitive markets.

You can be based either in Amsterdam or London.

The Role

As Trading Recruiter, you'll lead end-to-end recruitment for specialist trading and quantitative research positions, acting as a strategic talent partner to hiring leaders.

You'll play a key role in shaping hiring strategies, delivering an outstanding candidate experience, and ensuring the business continues to attract best-in-class talent across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for trading and quantitative research vacancies across Europe.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers, providing market intelligence, talent insights and recruitment best practice guidance.
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies to engage both active and passive candidates within highly competitive talent markets.
  • Build and maintain strong industry networks to proactively identify and attract high-calibre talent.
  • Assess candidates against technical capability, experience and cultural fit requirements.
  • Deliver a highly personalised candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Continuously improve recruitment processes, driving efficiency, effectiveness and quality of hire.
  • Use recruitment data and metrics to provide stakeholders with meaningful updates and actionable insights.

About You

  • 3+ years' recruitment experience, with exposure to trading, quantitative research, financial markets in a relevant agency desk or in house within a trading, hedge fund or investment banking environment
  • Proven success in securing high-demand talent within these competitive candidate markets.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence hiring decisions and build trusted relationships.
  • Confident engaging and converting candidates who are managing multiple opportunities.
  • Data-driven approach with experience using recruitment metrics to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Comfortable working with ATS platforms and recruitment technologies.
  • Highly organised, adaptable and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
