Our client, a well-established global executive search business, is looking for a Talent Development Lead to join their People & Development team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for sales, training delivery and coaching within the search/recruitment sector to shape how consultants at every level are developed.

Reporting to the Head of People & Development, you will lead the coordination and delivery of search and sales training programs across the business, with a particular focus on early-career consultants. You'll design a best-in-class sales excellence methodology, facilitate engaging learning sessions, provide hands-on desk-side coaching, and manage the end-to-end administration of development programs.

3 days in the office (central London).

Key Responsibilities

Coordinating Training Programs

  • Plan and organise training sessions, handling logistics, materials and participant communication
  • Maintain the learning and development calendar, avoiding conflicts with other business priorities
  • Act as the main point of contact for training participants, managing invitations, reminders and feedback

Designing and Facilitating Learning Sessions

  • Create engaging, accessible training materials that accommodate different learning styles
  • Lead interactive sessions spanning search methodology, sales, soft skills and technical training
  • Adapt sessions to meet the needs of audiences from entry-level to experienced professionals

Coaching, Mentoring, Quality Assurance and Feedback

  • Deliver 121 at-desk training and support, embedding best practice and data quality
  • Provide mentorship and coaching, particularly to those early in their careers
  • Give clear, constructive feedback during and after training sessions
  • Facilitate peer-to-peer learning through mentoring and team-based activities

Administrative Support for L&D

  • Maintain training documentation, attendance records and participant feedback
  • Track and report on employee development, participation and training outcomes
  • Use feedback to continuously improve training programs

Supporting the Business's Development Needs

  • Work with managers to identify learning needs and skills gaps, proposing relevant training
  • Design individual development plans aligned to career goals, using the 70-20-10 model

Essential Requirements

  • Extensive, demonstrable experience designing and delivering sales excellence/sales training programs, within a search, recruitment sales environment
  • Strong facilitation skills, with experience leading and co-facilitating interactive, engaging training sessions in person, at desk and remotely
  • Excellent organisational skills to coordinate multiple training sessions, timetables and participant logistics
  • Experience providing mentorship and coaching, ideally within a search, recruitment/staffing or sales environment
  • Clear, confident communication skills, with the ability to flex style to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Strong administration skills, comfortable managing training documentation, tracking progress and generating reports
  • A genuine commitment to inclusive learning and development, ensuring content and delivery are accessible to all, including neurodivergent and disabled employees
  • Good working knowledge of standard recruitment CRM and sourcing tools (e.g. Salesforce and LinkedIn Recruiter), with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
