Systems Accountant / Business Analyst - 6 month contract/ Immediate start - London - up to £600 p/d
Oakleaf Partnership are delighted to be partnered again, with a transport and logistics company, who are looking for a Systems Accountant / Business Analyst, on a 6 month basis. This role is to support the ERP transformation programme, migrating from Agresso to SAP. The role combines financial accounting, business analysis, systems integration and project delivery. The role will analyse large data sets, resolve data issues, and support multiple project work streams to ensure a successful go live. This position is on a hybrid basis, consisting of 3* days per week, based in their London office.
Systems Accountant / Business Analyst will be assisting/overseeing duties such as:
- Monitor data feeds and investigate interface failures, missing records and mapping errors.
- Validate data migration, control totals and source-to-target reconciliations.
- Document data flows, mappings and system dependencies.
- Analyse large data sets to identify discrepancies and data quality issues.
- Reconcile financial balances, transactions and opening balances between Agresso and SAP.
- Support cut over, go-live readiness and reconciliation sign-off.
- Develop and validate financial reports, management information and dashboards.
- Gather business requirements, map processes and identify data gaps.
- Analyse reporting variances and identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate project actions and dependencies to meet the go live deadline.
Key Skills:
- Experience in Systems Accounting, Finance Business Analysis or ERP implementation.
- Strong financial reconciliation, data analysis and data validation skills.
- Experience with ERP systems, data migration and system integration's.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets.
- Understanding of financial controls, general ledger processes and reporting.
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.
