Job Description

Part-Time Payroll Administrator Permanent

Salary: Up to £40,000 FTE (approximately £8,700-£9,200 per annum based on 40 hours per month)Location: Remote with occasional travel to London Oakleaf Partnership are working with a highly successful and growing investment business to recruit a Part-Time Payroll Administrator.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional looking for a flexible role within a collaborative, people-focused organisation.

Working closely with the People and Finance teams, you'll be responsible for delivering an accurate and efficient monthly payroll process while ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and providing an excellent service to employees.

Key Responsibilities Support the end-to-end monthly payroll process across multiple payrolls.

Process new starters, leavers and payroll changes accurately.

Liaise with the external payroll provider to ensure payroll is delivered accurately and on time.

Complete payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Administer pension schemes, salary sacrifice arrangements and employee benefits.

Maintain payroll records within the HR system.

Prepare payroll reports and support year-end processes and audits.

Respond to payroll queries from employees and internal stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with HMRC legislation, PAYE, NIC and RTI requirements.

Contribute to continuous improvement of payroll processes and controls.

Skill & Experrience You'll have previous UK payroll experience and a solid understanding of payroll legislation, pensions and auto-enrolment.

You'll be organised, accurate and confident managing confidential information.

Experience required: Previous payroll administration experience.

Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation.

Excellent Excel skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Experience with ADP, Hi Bob or similar payroll/HR systems would be advantageous.
