The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a large, complex international organisation looking to appoint an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Partner with a strong background in executive search and senior leadership recruitment.
This is a high-profile, relationship-driven role with a primary focus on identifying and securing exceptional leadership talent across an international business.
Working closely with the Chief People Officer, Executive Leadership Team and senior business leaders, you will take ownership of business-critical executive and senior leadership searches, providing expert advice on search strategy, talent availability and market conditions.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished in-house Talent Acquisition professional or Executive Search specialist who enjoys operating as a trusted advisor and is confident working directly with C-suite and senior stakeholders.
The Role
You will lead end-to-end executive and senior leadership searches across a diverse and international organisation, developing tailored strategies to identify, engage and secure high-calibre talent.
A significant part of the role will involve direct sourcing, market mapping and talent intelligence, building a detailed understanding of relevant talent markets and developing proactive pipelines for current and future leadership requirements.
You will combine hands-on search delivery with strategic stakeholder partnership, advising senior leaders on hiring strategy, candidate profiles and market dynamics.
Alongside your executive search remit, you will contribute to wider Talent Acquisition projects and provide additional recruitment support where required.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Search & Leadership Hiring
- Lead end-to-end executive and senior leadership searches across the organisation.
- Partner closely with the Chief People Officer, Executive Leadership Team and senior business leaders to define hiring strategies and talent requirements.
- Develop and execute sophisticated search strategies for business-critical appointments.
- Conduct detailed market mapping, competitor analysis and talent intelligence across UK and international markets.
- Build and maintain proactive pipelines of senior leadership talent.
- Identify and engage passive candidates through direct sourcing, networking and relationship management.
- Manage executive-level candidate assessment and selection processes.
- Deliver a high-quality, highly personalised candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Support offer negotiation and closing strategies for senior appointments.
Strategic Talent Partnership
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on talent acquisition strategy, market conditions and hiring best practice.
- Provide credible market insight and challenge assumptions around candidate profiles, talent availability and search strategy.
- Develop a strong understanding of business priorities and translate these into effective talent strategies.
- Provide talent intelligence to support future organisational capability, succession planning and leadership requirements.
- Build long-term relationships with high-calibre senior talent across relevant markets.
Talent Acquisition Projects
- Contribute to wider Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives.
- Support employer branding, EVP and talent attraction activity.
- Partner with HR and People teams on proactive talent pipelining.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, systems and candidate experience.
- Provide occasional recruitment support across other functions during periods of increased hiring demand.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
- Develop strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across an international organisation.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Talent Acquisition team, sharing market intelligence, sourcing expertise and best practice.
- Operate as a credible ambassador for the organisation when engaging senior external talent.
About You
We are looking for an accomplished Talent Acquisition or Executive Search professional who combines excellent direct search capability with strong commercial judgement and senior stakeholder credibility.
You will be comfortable operating in a fast-moving, complex environment and taking ownership of senior searches from initial briefing and market mapping through to successful appointment.
Essential Experience
- Significant experience within in-house Talent Acquisition, executive search or retained search.
- A proven track record of successfully delivering executive and senior leadership appointments.
- Strong direct sourcing skills with extensive experience identifying and engaging passive senior-level candidates.
- Significant experience using LinkedIn Recruiter to develop searches, market maps and talent pipelines.
- Demonstrable expertise in market mapping, talent intelligence, competitor research and proactive pipelining.
- The confidence and credibility to influence, advise and constructively challenge C-suite and senior stakeholders.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong project management and organisational capability.
- The ability to manage multiple complex senior-level searches simultaneously.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working within a large, international, multi-entity or complex organisation.
- Exposure to professional services, technology, private equity-backed or other commercially focused environments would be advantageous.
- Experience recruiting internationally and across multiple markets.
- Knowledge of employer branding, EVP and talent attraction strategies.
- Experience using Teamtailor or a comparable ATS.
