A leading global law firm is seeking a dynamic Senior HR Manager to support their Finance Practice Groups during an exciting phase of transformation. This role offers the opportunity to shape HR strategy at the highest level while driving cultural initiatives, talent management, and strategic HR support.
Role Overview: As an integral part of the HR team, you will work closely with the Global Head of HR to implement HR strategy for the Finance department, delivering comprehensive HR support across all areas including talent mapping, succession planning, recruitment, development, and retention. You will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, assisting in managing HR initiatives and facilitating effective people management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.
- Provide strategic input on talent management, including recruitment, secondments, and retention.
- Advise on HR matters such as risk, cost, and employee relations, ensuring smooth resolution in collaboration with central HR teams.
- Lead the delivery of annual HR processes, including promotions, salary reviews, and performance management.
- Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture within the Practice Groups.
- Analyze staff engagement data to inform action plans and continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
- CIPD or similar HR qualification.
- Extensive HR experience within corporate, finance, professional services, or law firms.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Proven experience working with senior management in a complex, international environment.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with senior partners.
- Commercial acumen and strategic thinking with the ability to manage both operational and strategic HR initiatives.
