Senior HR Business Partner Legal Permanent Hybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 days WFH) A leading global professional services firm is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to join its team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing HR function within a prestigious, international organisation. The role will support the firm\’s Leeds office primarily, with broader responsibilities across its European operations. It\’s well-suited to an experienced HR professional who thrives in a strategic business partnering capacity and is comfortable navigating complex, fast-paced environments. Act as a strategic partner to senior leaders, aligning HR solutions with business goals. Provide expert advice on a wide range of employee relations matters in line with UK employment law. Collaborate on large-scale change initiatives and transformation projects within HR and the wider business. Drive talent initiatives including succession planning, capability building, and workforce development. Support workforce planning and budget forecasting in collaboration with line managers. Lead or support change management initiatives across departments and regions. Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, supporting people management and development efforts. Work alongside the talent acquisition team to manage recruitment and internal mobility for assigned business units. Ensure HR compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Maintain up-to-date employee documentation including contracts, templates, and policies. Proven experience in a senior HR business partnering role within a law firm or professional services setting. Willingness to travel regularly to Leeds (approx. 2 days per month), with occasional travel to other European locations. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations best practices. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to analyse HR data and present actionable insights.
