Length: initially 3 months with potential of extension or a permanent opportunity

Location: Central London, Hybrid working: 50% in the office

Rate: between £300-£400/day depending on experience (inside IR35)

Oakleaf Partnership is working with a global, fast-paced financial services organisation with a strong reputation. They are looking to recruit an interim Senior Global Payroll Analyst on an initial 3-month temporary assignment, with potential to become permanent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced international payroll professional to join a growing global payroll function supporting operations across EMEA, APAC and the US.

What is the role

This position will support international payroll processing across multiple jurisdictions during a period of growth and increased workload. The successful candidate will work closely with Payroll, Finance and HR teams globally to ensure accurate and compliant payroll operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and processing multiple international payrolls across EMEA, APAC and the US
  • Conducting payroll audits and peer reviews to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Supporting payroll accounting activities including reconciliations, accruals and journal entries
  • Acting as a key back-up across global payroll operations
  • Supporting year-end reporting and local statutory filings
  • Maintaining and improving payroll processes and documentation
  • Partnering with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related queries and projects
  • Supporting a globally mobile workforce across multiple jurisdictions

Skills & Experience

  • Strong payroll experience with strong exposure to international payroll operations, ideally within Financial Services, Professional Services or Global Commercial Organisations
  • Proven experience managing payroll across multiple regions including EMEA, APAC and the US
  • Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, controls and year-end reporting requirements
  • Experience using ADP and HRIS systems such as Workday
  • Strong Excel and payroll accounting skills
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced global environment
  • Confident communicator who is proactive, resourceful and not afraid to ask questions
