Reporting to: Senior HR Business Partner
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor for a 3-6-month fixed term contract, primarily based in Peterborough. This is a hands-on, operationally focused role with a strong emphasis on Employee Relations.
You will take ownership of a range of complex ER cases, managing them end-to-end while ensuring best practice, compliance, and a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a high volume of Employee Relations cases end-to-end, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance, and workplace investigations.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on ER issues, ensuring consistency and alignment with company policy and employment law.
- Lead and support complex and sensitive cases, including investigations and hearings.
- Ensure all ER cases are handled in a fair, timely, and legally compliant manner.
- Support line managers in building confidence and capability in handling people matters.
