I am currently partnering with a Global Food and Beverage business to appoint an Organisation Design Manager. Based in Central London, this is a full-time hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) with a salary of £70k-£80k plus benefits and bonus.
Acting as a strategic internal consultant, this role will focus on strengthening and evolving the organisation's operating model to ensure it is designed to deliver the company's long-term strategy. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across corporate and regional teams to diagnose organisational challenges, optimise structures, and drive organisational performance.
- Strategic Organisation Design & Operating Model Enablement:
- Lead the design of enterprise-level organisational structures, including spans and layers, governance frameworks, and design principles.
- Use data and insight to provide recommendations that enhance organisational agility, performance, and scalability.
- Conduct organisational diagnostics, including spans and layers analysis, structural cost assessments, and capability mapping.
- Evaluate operating model effectiveness and identify barriers to decision-making, accountability, and performance.
- Provide governance for structural changes to ensure alignment with enterprise design principles.
- Advise on regional organisational design proposals, balancing global consistency with local flexibility.
- Regional Operating Model Support:
- Build strong relationships with regional People leaders to understand business priorities and local market dynamics.
- Provide advisory support on organisation design and operating model evolution tailored to regional needs.
- Change & Transformation:
- Support organisation redesign initiatives and operating model transformations from a people and change perspective.
- Support leaders in embedding new ways of working, including governance structures, decision rights, and accountabilities.
Contribute to the development of the HRIS and People technology roadmap to support organisation design integrity. Partner with Digital & Technology teams to improve data quality, streamline processes, and enhance digital optimisation. Champion digital fluency and continuous improvement across the People function.
Our client is looking for an experienced organisation design professional who is comfortable working in complex, global environments and partnering with senior stakeholders.
- Proven experience delivering organisation design initiatives in complex, multi-country organisations.
- Experience conducting organisation diagnostics and using data to inform recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
- Strong project management and collaboration skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with HRIS systems for organisation design, ideally SAP SuccessFactors.
