This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and has a proven track record of leading workforce planning, organisation design, or transformation initiatives in large, global businesses.

The Opportunity

As Workforce Planning Lead, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of a global workforce planning project, ensuring the successful implementation of processes, governance, tools, and ways of working that enable better workforce decision-making across the organisation.

You will partner closely with stakeholders across People & Organisation, Finance, Technology, and business functions to embed workforce planning into strategic and financial planning cycles, ensuring workforce decisions are aligned to long-term business objectives.

A key focus of the role will be helping the organisation anticipate the impact of AI, automation, and emerging technologies on future workforce requirements, organisational capabilities, and skills needs.

You will also establish governance frameworks, strengthen planning disciplines, improve accountability, and create scalable workforce planning practices that deliver lasting organisational value.

About You

You will bring significant experience leading workforce planning, organisation transformation, capability planning, or strategic people projects within complex, international organisations.

You will have a strong track record of delivering large-scale programmes from design through to implementation, with expertise across stakeholder engagement, governance, process design, change management, and adoption.

You will possess strong analytical and consulting skills, with the ability to translate complex data and business challenges into clear recommendations and executive-level insights.

A strong understanding of how AI, automation, and emerging technologies are reshaping organisations, skills, and workforce strategies is essential.

You will be comfortable influencing senior stakeholders while remaining hands-on and delivery-focused, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
