Oakleaf Partnership is delighted to be partnered with a well-known firm, who are looking for a Senior Payroll Administrator, on a permanent basis. The detail-oriented Senior Payroll Administrator will take ownership of payroll operations for UK, Ireland, EMEA & APAC, responsible for managing end to end payroll for approximately 500 employees. The position requires strong UK & Ireland payroll knowledge, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work confidently and independently in a fast-paced environment. This role is on a hybrid basis consisting of 4 days in their London office.
The Senior Payroll Administrator will be assisting/overseeing duties such as:
- Preparation of the outsourced payroll process including preparation of monthly payroll, and payroll tax filings, for 500 employees.
- Reconciliation of payroll-related expenses to the monthly journal.
- Review and post monthly journal entries for payroll related expenses.
- Perform the monthly payroll benefit and payroll tax liability reconciliations.
- Assist with ad-hoc payroll and benefits queries for employees in the UK, Ireland, EMEA & APAC regions.
- Ensure compliance with payroll and tax laws across all countries.
Key Skills:
- Min 2-5 years of experience working within UK & Irish Payroll.
- CloudPay & Workday Payroll would be beneficial.
- Ability to effectively manage personal workload, including understanding priorities, delivering to tight timelines and managing customer expectations.
- Able to work in a complex structure, fast-paced environment that constantly evolves and has a can-do attitude.
- Analytically driven and responsible for creating innovative solutions to support the business.
- Highly organised, able to work to tight deadlines, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
