Oakleaf Partnership is delighted to be exclusively partnered with a renowned retailer, who are seeking a Payroll Consultant on an 8 month contract basis. You will be processing end to end UK and Irish payroll, while assisting with the implementation of US payroll.
The Payroll Consultant will have the following skills:
- Experience of processing end to end UK and Irish payroll
- Support the delivery of a global payroll transformation programme across the US and APAC regions, ensuring alignment with project timelines and business objectives.
- Lead payroll process reviews, driving standardisation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and third party payroll providers to implement new payroll processes and operating models.
- Coordinate payroll transition activities, including testing, parallel runs and go-live support.
- Ensure payroll compliance with local legislative requirements across US jurisdictions.
- Develop and maintain payroll controls, process documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and key internal stakeholders to support service excellence.
To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate must:
- Minimum of 5 years' hands on payroll experience across the UK, Ireland, and the US regions.
- Global payroll transformation exposure
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Be service driven, with a high accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to organise and prioritise in a busy environment
- Experience of working within a large collaborative team
- Analytically driven and responsible for creating innovative solutions to support the business
- Excellent communication skills
