We are a high-performing, fast-paced global organisation seeking an experienced Talent Development leader to join our central People function. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of business strategy and people capability - focused on the overall management of talent programmes on a global basis as well as designing and delivering said programmes.

You will own our global talent programmes end-to-end while playing a key role in shaping how AI is embedded into learning, leadership development, and talent processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deliver, and continuously improve global talent programmes, including onboarding, career development, and leadership development from Manager through to senior level.
  • Drive rigorous evaluation of all programmes using business-relevant metrics (beyond activity data) and make clear recommendations on scaling, redesigning, or decommissioning initiatives.
  • Manage the global programme calendar and partner with the coordination team to ensure consistent, high-quality execution across regions.
  • Support core talent processes (Engagement Surveys, Talent Reviews, Succession Planning) with a strong focus on manager capability and business impact.
  • Lead and develop a small Talent Development Coordinator team (1-2 direct reports).
Embedding AI in Talent & Leadership Development
  • Identify and implement AI tools to enhance programme delivery - e.g., AI-powered coaching simulations, personalised learning pathways, and smarter analytics.
  • Use generative AI to increase the speed and quality of content creation and resource development.
  • Leverage AI-driven insights to better identify skill gaps, improve succession planning, and strengthen talent analytics.
Programme Execution & Stakeholder Management
  • Provide strong project and programme management support across the Talent Development portfolio - introducing consistent frameworks, risk management, and delivery rigour.
  • Act as a trusted consultant to senior commercial leaders and HRBPs, translating business priorities into effective development solutions.
  • Manage external vendors and partners with a sharp focus on ROI.
  • Support major change initiatives with structured change management approaches.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven, solid experience in Talent Development, L&D, or Talent Management, ideally within professional services, financial services, or technology environments.
  • Proven success designing and delivering global talent programmes with clear, measurable business impact.
  • Practical familiarity with AI tools in a learning/talent context (generative AI for content, AI platforms for personalisation, assessment, or analytics). You are a confident, curious practitioner who can cut through the hype.
  • Strong project and programme management skills - able to bring structure to complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives while maintaining pace and quality.
  • Experience influencing and consulting at senior levels across HR and commercial functions.
  • Track record of evaluating programmes, using data to drive decisions, and managing change effectively.
  • Genuine passion for talent development as a commercial lever, with the ability to articulate its value clearly.
You Are
  • Commercially minded and outcome-focused.
  • Equally comfortable operating at strategic and delivery levels.
  • Analytically strong with excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Organised, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity in a global, matrix environment.
  • Culturally aware and able to balance global consistency with local nuance.
