Oakleaf partnership are partnering with a leading global professional services firm to recruit experienced Learning Consultants into a fast-growing People Consulting team focused on Financial Services. This team works with some of the UK's largest Banking, Insurance, and Asset & Wealth Management organisations (FTSE 100 clients), supporting large-scale transformation programmes through innovative learning and capability solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong learning design and consulting experience who enjoys working on complex, high-impact projects and wants exposure to senior stakeholders in a collaborative, high-performing environment.
The Role:
- As a Consultant within the Learning Transformation practice, you will be assigned to specific client projects, typically lasting between 12 weeks and 6 months (with some longer-term engagements).
- You’ll work under the guidance of senior leaders while owning workstreams and delivering end-to-end learning solutions.
- You’ll support organisations undergoing business change, systems transformation, regulatory change, and growth, helping them build future-ready skills and learning functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on learning strategy, skills gaps, learning pathways, and the learning function of the future.
- Designing and delivering impactful learning solutions, including digital and non-digital assets.
- Conducting learning needs analysis and translating insights into practical, engaging learning interventions.
- Leading learning design activities including structural design, storyboarding, and development.
- Creating high-quality client materials, including PowerPoint presentations and learning content.
- Supporting leadership development and wider organisational performance initiatives through learning.
- Proactively managing client stakeholders and building trusted relationships.
- Contributing to proposals and business development activity (supporting rather than leading).
- Working collaboratively across multiple engagements in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Skills and Experience:

- Strong background in learning design and learning strategy.
- Experience with e-learning, authoring tools, and digital learning solutions.
- Proven capability in learning needs analysis and end-to-end solution design.

- Experience working on change or transformation programmes.
Highly desirable:
- Previous consulting experience, or a strong understanding of how consulting environments operate.
- Experience within Financial Services (banking, insurance, asset/wealth management).
- Exposure to large, complex organisations (FTSE 100 or similar).
- Interest in learning trends, innovation, and future skills.
