A prestigious and well-established financial services organisation is seeking a proactive and adaptable Learning & Development Specialist to join the people function on a 12-month fixed-term contract with potential to the longer term. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high performing learning & development team, where you will have global remit to truly partner with the business to deliver meaningful learning programs across various client groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner across business areas to design, deliver, and manage learning programmes tailored to changing4 business needs as well as junior career development, providing guidance to stakeholders across global locations.
  • Act as a central point of contact for Professional Qualifications, managing related queries and supporting employees through their development.
  • Develop and implement a global promotion programme in partnership with other learning leads, in line with performance cycles.
  • Create and execute engaging communications to support the launch and impact of learning initiatives, while staying current with L&D trends and business-specific skills.
  • Contribute to broader initiatives such as performance management and leadership capability, ensuring learning programmes are evaluated for impact, behavioural change, and integration into the business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors, managing delivery quality and overseeing budget tracking to ensure alignment with financial plans.
  • Collaborate on global L&D projects and change initiatives, providing insights and hands-on support to ensure successful implementation and adoption across the organisation.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in Learning & Development, within a Financial or Professional Services environment
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and solve problems effectively
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work in a collaborative and global setting.
  • Analytical mindset, with experience evaluating learning impact and driving continuous improvement

This is a varied and holistic Learning & Development role with the opportunity to get exposure globally, where you will be hands on in the delivery of the learning strategy to make a real impact.
