Working closely with senior leaders across designated business areas, you will act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic and operational HR support across the full employee lifecycle. You will play a key role in shaping people plans, driving engagement, supporting talent development and delivering best-in-class HR solutions within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The Role Act as the main point of contact for employees and managers across your designated business areas, developing a strong understanding of their goals and objectives to create aligned people plans. Build trusted relationships with leaders, providing credible and pragmatic HR advice and challenge. Provide expert guidance on a wide range of employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, performance management, absence management and policy interpretation. Support a flexible workforce including permanent employees, fixed-term contractors, contractors and casual workers, ensuring workforce plans align with business needs. Partner with Centres of Excellence including Talent Acquisition and Talent Management to deliver key people initiatives. Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR policies, processes and systems. Talent & Performance Management Facilitating regular talent reviews and supporting leaders to identify high-potential employees and create meaningful development plans. Driving succession planning discussions and ensuring future workforce needs are considered. Supporting managers with performance improvement plans and strategies to address underperformance. Coaching leaders to effectively manage performance, development conversations and employee engagement. Employee Relations Advising managers on complex employee relations matters. Conducting investigations and supporting disciplinary and grievance processes up to dismissal. Providing guidance on employment legislation, policies and best practice. Managing welfare cases including long-term absence, occupational health referrals and employee wellbeing. Supporting family-friendly policies including maternity, paternity, shared parental leave and flexible working requests. Analysing ER trends and providing recommendations to improve policies, processes and employee experience. Recruitment & Onboarding Advising managers on recruitment strategy, selection processes and interview techniques. Ensuring recruitment processes are followed effectively and consistently. Supporting workforce planning and identifying the best approaches to attract talent. Ensuring new starters receive a structured and engaging onboarding experience. Learning, Development & Engagement Identifying learning needs and partnering with leaders to deliver appropriate solutions. Running HR workshops to support managers with employment law updates and people management responsibilities. Supporting engagement initiatives and helping leaders create meaningful action plans following engagement surveys. Using people data and insights to influence decisions and improve employee experience. About You You will be an experienced HR professional with: CIPD Level 7 qualification (or equivalent experience). Extensive employee relations experience, including complex case management. Experience supporting talent management, succession planning and performance management. Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice. TPBN1_UKTJ
