Interim Junior HR Business Partner

  • 12-month FTC (Jan/Feb start)

Oakleaf Partnership is representing a global, diverse Bank with a strong culture and values-led approach. We are supporting the search for an Interim Junior HR Business Partners to join the EMEA HR team, providing essential HR support to the Control Functions.

This is a brilliant career step for an experienced Senior HR Advisor or Junior HRBP looking to broaden their exposure in a fast-paced, international environment. You will gain invaluable experience working closely with senior stakeholders, while being part of a collaborative and supportive HR team.

The role

As a Junior HR Business Partner, you will work alongside a Senior HRBP to deliver core people processes including compensation rounds, performance management, promotions, and talent initiatives. You\’ll act as a trusted advisor to your business area, providing coaching, advice and support across the employee lifecycle.

This role will give you the chance to:

  • Partner with business leaders to drive engagement and performance
  • Support talent management, succession planning and workforce planning activities
  • Gain exposure to complex ER cases, supporting case prep and providing advice
  • Contribute to projects across diversity & inclusion, progressive ways of working, and capability building
  • Prepare HR data and MI, providing insights and analysis to inform decisions
  • Be part of a dynamic and collegiate team, learning from experienced senior HRBPs

Candidate profile / experience

  • Currently operating as a Senior HR Advisor, Junior HRBP or equivalent, ideally within Banking or Financial Services
  • Prior experience working in a global matrix environment
  • Strong generalist HR experience, with the ambition to step up into a broader HRBP role
  • Confident communicator, able to build relationships quickly and develop credibility with stakeholders
  • Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative – thrives in a team environment
  • Analytical, with the ability to interpret data and provide insights
