Location: Hounslow (with UK travel)

Day Rate: Β£550-Β£650 per day

About the Role

We are supporting a global logistics organisation in the appointment of an experienced Interim HR Consultant to establish a brand-new HR function from the ground up. This is a high-impact interim role, ideal for someone who has successfully built HR frameworks, processes, and operating models within complex, international environments. Based in Hounslow, the role will work closely with Group HR in the Netherlands, ensuring alignment with global strategy while tailoring solutions to the UK business. Regular travel will be required to sites in the Midlands and potentially Scotland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a fully functioning HR framework from scratch, including policies, processes, and governance
  • Act as a trusted HR partner to senior leaders and operational management across the UK
  • Collaborate closely with Group HR (Netherlands) to ensure consistency with global HR standards and initiatives
  • Establish and embed core HR processes such as:
  • Employee relations and case management
  • Performance management frameworks
  • Organisational design and role architecture
  • Talent, succession, and workforce planning
  • Advise leaders on employment law, best practice, and change management
  • Support and influence stakeholders across multiple locations and cultures
  • Provide hands-on HR support while also operating strategically
  • Prepare the business for a scalable, sustainable HR model for the future
  • About You

    • Proven experience setting up an HR function from scratch within a medium to large organisation
    • Strong background operating as an HR Consultant or Interim HR Leader
    • Experience working in global or matrixed organisations, partnering with international HR teams
    • Confident influencing senior leaders and managing diverse stakeholders across geographies
    • Pragmatic, delivery-focused, and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments
    • Willing and able to travel across the UK as required
