Executive Assistant to CEO (6-Month Maternity Cover)

£70,000 - £75,000 + Benefits
Chiswick, London (2-3 days per week in office)
6-Month Fixed-Term Contract with Likely Extension to 12 Months

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Executive Assistant to join a global, technology-led entertainment business on an initial 6-month maternity cover contract, with a strong likelihood of extension for a further six months.

This is a highly visible role supporting the CEO and senior leadership team of a fast-paced, international organisation. The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner, ensuring the smooth running of executive activities while driving operational excellence, supporting key business initiatives, and helping to foster a positive company culture.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, solutions-focused Executive Assistant with experience supporting C-suite leaders in a global environment and the confidence to operate as a true business partner.

The Role

The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative, operational and strategic support to the CEO and wider leadership team. Working in a dynamic, international business, they will play a key role in managing priorities, coordinating projects, improving processes and ensuring leadership activities remain aligned to key business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide seamless 1:1 executive support to the CEO, managing complex and constantly changing diaries across multiple time zones.
  • Coordinate international and multi-stop travel arrangements, including itineraries, visas, transfers and accommodation.
  • Support, coach and manage a Junior Personal Assistant.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business, anticipating needs and identifying solutions before issues arise.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in driving key projects and business priorities on behalf of the CEO.
  • Help ensure the leadership team remains focused on key objectives, deliverables and KPIs.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive, high-performing company culture.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and productivity across the business.
  • Lead the planning and coordination of leadership events, offsites, company socials and customer-facing events.
  • Organise and manage board meeting cadences, including agenda preparation, board papers, minute-taking, action tracking and follow-up.
  • Provide support across operational, HR and marketing-related projects as required.
  • Prepare and manage confidential communications, reports and business-critical documentation.

About the Candidate

The successful candidate will be highly organised, commercially aware and comfortable operating at pace within a complex, global organisation.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' experience supporting C-suite executives as an Executive Assistant.
  • Experience working within an international organisation across multiple time zones.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • A proactive, "can-do" approach with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Passion for supporting strong organisational culture and employee engagement.
  • Experience coordinating leadership meetings, projects and business initiatives.
  • High degree of discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
