A leading global financial institution is now seeking a Compensation Data Manager to join the HR and European Compensation team in London. This is a high-impact Manager-level role focused on compensation data analytics, regulatory reporting, and governance. You will design and maintain robust data frameworks to support regulatory submissions and internal decision-making across the UK and Ireland, working with complex compensation data in a regulated banking environment. You will use this data in order to be able to tell a story to RemCo and Exco.
Key Accountabilities
- Design, implement, and maintain compensation data analytics frameworks, models, and dashboards to support regulatory reporting and internal governance.
- Lead data gathering, validation, and reconciliation efforts across Payroll, Finance, and HR teams to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Automate recurring compensation reporting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and auditability.
- Support key regulatory submissions and obligations, including EBA, PRA, FCA, CBI, CRD V/VI, and other relevant requirements.
- Conduct trend analysis, outlier identification, and equal pay audits across business units, countries, and employee levels.
- Support remuneration committee meetings (ROC and RemCo) by preparing high-quality materials for senior executives and board members.
- Maintain regulatory rules mapping, gap analysis, and controls libraries for the UK and Ireland.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners on year-end incentive planning, benchmarking, and recruitment-related compensation matters.
About You
- Graduate calibre with substantial experience in compensation data analytics within the financial services / banking sector.
- Strong technical skills in data modelling, advanced Excel, and PowerPoint (with the ability to produce executive-level presentations).
- Deep understanding of European banking remuneration regulations (PRA, FCA, EBA, CRD, etc.).
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional data projects with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.
