I am partnering with a global organisation to recruit an experienced and proactive Workday BAU Analyst to support and enhance a large-scale Workday environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong Workday professional who enjoys balancing BAU support with continuous improvement initiatives across a global HR systems landscape. The role will focus primarily on Core HCM and Workday Security, while also contributing to enhancement projects, optimisation activities, and platform governance.

The successful candidate will work closely with HR, Technology, and key business stakeholders to ensure the Workday platform remains efficient, secure, and aligned to business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support and administration of the Workday platform
  • Configure and maintain Workday business processes, security roles, domains, and policies
  • Lead and support enhancement initiatives including:
    • Job Architecture implementation
    • Security redesign and simplification
    • Reporting and dashboard optimisation
    • Process automation and UX improvements
  • Partner with HR and Technology stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions
  • Support Workday releases including impact assessments, testing, and deployment activities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, data discrepancies, and user queries
  • Support audit and security compliance activities where required
  • Build and maintain reports, calculated fields, and dashboards
  • Assist with data loads, tenant management, and integration testing
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to simplify processes and improve governance
  • Produce and maintain clear system and process documentation
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years' hands-on Workday configuration and support experience
  • Strong functional knowledge of:
    • Core HCM
    • Workday Security
    • Business Processes
    • Reporting
  • Proven experience delivering or supporting Workday enhancement projects
  • Strong understanding of Workday security frameworks including domains, roles, and segment-based security
  • Experience supporting BAU operations and resolving production issues
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across support and project delivery
  • Experience supporting Workday releases and regression testing
