We are partnering with a well-known global retail brand to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a broad and hands-on HRBP role supporting stakeholders across the UK and EMEA. Working within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will provide pragmatic HR support across the full employee lifecycle, partnering with leaders at all levels of the organisation, including members of the Executive Committee.
This opportunity would suit a commercially minded HR professional who enjoys being close to the business and operating across both strategic and operational HR activities. Whilst there is exposure to senior leadership, this is primarily an operational business partnering role requiring strong execution, sound judgement, and the ability to manage a varied workload.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with leaders across the UK and EMEA on a wide range of people matters.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations issues, performance management, disciplinary and grievance processes.
- Support managers through probation reviews, performance conversations, and employee development discussions.
- Coach and support stakeholders to ensure consistent application of HR policies and processes.
- Support organisational change initiatives and workforce planning activities where required.
- Drive employee engagement and support the delivery of key people initiatives.
- Collaborate with Centres of Excellence and wider HR teams to ensure a seamless employee experience.
- Utilise HR data and insights to support decision-making and identify trends.
- Proven experience operating as an HR Business Partner within a fast-paced retail, consumer, hospitality, or customer-focused environment.
- Strong employee relations experience with the confidence to manage complex and sensitive cases.
- Comfortable working across multiple countries and navigating differing cultural and employment contexts.
- Credible and confident when partnering with senior stakeholders, including Executive Committee members.
- Hands-on, pragmatic, and delivery-focused approach.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Available to start at short notice or within a reasonable notice period.
