We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded HR Business Partner to join our global law firm client, on an initial contract for 12 months. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing, international professional services environment where people are at the heart of business success. You will play a key role in delivering people initiatives, leading complex HR matters, and contributing to ongoing transformation programmes designed to enhance the employee experience and strengthen the way the global HR function operates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to implement people strategies that support business plans and align with organisational objectives, providing advice and guidance.
  • Lead talent and performance management initiatives, including succession planning and talent development activities, supporting workforce planning by identifying capability requirements, talent gaps and future resourcing needs.
  • Deliver organisational change programmes, restructures and transformation initiatives in partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Support cultural, values and inclusion initiatives that enhance employee experience and organisational effectiveness.
  • Lead and manage complex employee relations matters, including restructures, TUPE transfers, disciplinary and grievance processes, and appeals.
  • Coach and support managers to build leadership capability and promote best practice people management.
  • Contribute to wider HR projects and transformation initiatives aimed at improving processes, systems and ways of working across a global HR function.

You will be an experienced HR professional who combines commercial awareness with strong relationship-building skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Key Skills

  • Proven HR Business Partnering experience within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end HR processes, including reward, performance management, talent management and employee relations.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting organisational change, transformation programmes and restructuring activities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with a highly collaborative and consultative approach and excellent interpersonal skills.
