Oakleaf Partnership is working with a globally recognised legal firm with an excellent reputation and strong people-focused culture. They are looking for an Early Careers Recruitment Advisor to join its Early Careers team. You must have Early Careers Recruitment experience (non negotiable).

They are seeking someone who can quickly take ownership, manage stakeholders effectively, and deliver high-quality graduate recruitment across multiple UK offices. You'll work closely with the Graduate Recruitment Manager and wider Early Talent team to deliver attraction, engagement and recruitment activity for trainee and graduate programmes. These programmes represent a significant long-term investment for the firm, making this a highly visible and commercially important role.

The position combines high-volume recruitment delivery with high-touch stakeholder engagement, requiring someone who can manage process, relationships and candidate experience equally well.

What is the role

  • Deliver early talent attraction activity including careers fairs, workshops and engagement events (virtual and in person)
  • Manage graduate and internship recruitment processes from attraction through to assessment and offers
  • Screen high application volumes (typically 100-500 per cycle) and support annual hiring targets of 50+ hires
  • Plan and facilitate assessment centres and provide candidate feedback
  • Work with marketing, PR and social media teams to promote opportunities and strengthen employer branding
  • Build relationships with universities, diversity partners and external suppliers
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds, providing guidance and managing expectations
  • Analyse recruitment pipelines, identify bottlenecks and improve processes
  • Ensure compliance with right-to-work and immigration requirements
  • Manage candidate activity via the applicant tracking system

After joining, graduates transition to a separate development team, meaning your focus remains on attraction and recruitment delivery.

The environment

Part of a global organisation of around 4,500 employees, the firm combines international scale with strong local office cultures. Teams are collaborative, visible and approachable, with open communication across all levels. The business is well known as a 'lifestyle' professional services firm offering a supportive but high-performing environment.

Skill and Experience

  • Early careers/graduate recruitment experience
  • Professional services background preferred (legal, accountancy or consultancy)
  • Experience managing bulk recruitment campaigns and assessment activity
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Commercial awareness and analytical mindset
  • Confident presenter and relationship-builder
  • Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working independently

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team where you can make a genuine impact on future talent while building strong internal relationships across the business.
