Salary: Scale SO1 Point 23 - 25 £40,404 - £41,637 per annum, pro rata (Actual salary payable: £36,614 - £38,602 per annum)
35 hours per week, term time + 1 week (40 weeks)

We are seeking an outstanding Pastoral Year Leader, who has the drive, vision and ambition to lead one of our year groups on our main site. The successful candidate will be a key member of the School’s excellent pastoral team, working with staff and students and taking pastoral responsibility for the day to day management of students. All members of the team are committed to ensuring the academic, personal and social development of our students, maintaining high standards of behaviour and celebrating success.
You must be able to relate to young people and their parents/carers, and have the ability to liaise with teachers and other professionals. You will need energy, patience, a sense of humour, a strong character and be committed to lifelong learning. Good communication skills are essential.
