Learning Mentor & Resource Assistant Required from January 2025 Salary: Scale 5 Point 12 – 15 (£33, 291 – £34, 779 per annum, pro rata) Actual salary payable £28, 891 – £30, 183 per annum 35 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks) Oaklands School is a fully inclusive school with a wealth of opportunities for all learners to achieve their full potential. Oaklands School requires a Learning Mentor & Resource Assistant from January 2025 to work with the Sixth Form team, tutors and teachers. The successful candidate will provide academic support to students in the sixth form, as well as support the school in managing, maintaining and promoting the library and our brand new Learning Centre. You must be able to relate to young people, and have the ability to liaise with teachers and other professionals. You will need the ability to motivate and enthuse others, the ability to think strategically, creatively and be committed to lifelong learning. Excellent literacy and communication skills are essential. We are keen to hear from you if you: are an excellent communicator, wish to inspire, support and develop young people, are a team player.
