The Governors and Headteacher wish to appoint an enthusiastic, talented and inspiring Teaching Assistant to work with our pupils on a term time only, 32.5-hour, permanent contract to start in September 2026. Oaklands School is a unique secondary special school for pupils with moderate and complex learning difficulties.
The successful candidate will join a school team committed to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment where everyone is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of its pupils and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and Disclosure and Barring Service.
