We are seeking to appoint a Receptionist and Administration Assistant to provide a professional, welcoming, positive, and highly efficient service to Oaklands School. The role will complement and contribute to front‑office functioning alongside other team members working from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm (5.5 hrs per day). The post holder will coordinate communications for callers, visitors, staff and students, and render an efficient front‑line reception service at the School.

- Start date: April 2026 (or earlier)
- Hours: 27.5 hours per week, Term Time Only + 2 weeks (41 weeks)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 1:30 pm
- Salary: Scale 4 Points 7‑10 (£31,980‑£33,384 per annum, pro rata £22,823‑£23,676 per annum)
Responsibilities
- Co‑ordinate communications for callers, visitors, staff and students.
- Deliver efficient front‑line reception service.
- Support other administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Excellent literacy and communication skills.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent administrative skills and confidence working independently and unsupervised.
- Experience using a MIS such as SIMS (highly desirable).
- Ability to speak Bengali (desirable but not essential).
