Oaklands School is seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of Science to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This is a permanent position in an Outstanding School. We welcome applications from teachers at all stages of their career, including ECTs starting in September 2026 or earlier if possible.
Responsibilities
- Teach engaging and well-structured Science lessons (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) up to and including GCSE level.
- Create a nurturing learning environment in which every student can reach their full potential.
- Work as part of a successful multi-disciplinary team within the Science department.
- Contribute to innovative teaching and learning strategies through collaboration and sharing ideas.
- Be willing to teach across all years and across KS3 and KS4.
Qualifications and Experience
- Interest, enthusiasm, knowledge and experience of teaching Science is essential.
- Ability to teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics up to GCSE level.
- Open to applicants with a secondary science background, and also welcome candidates with a primary teaching background who have a strong interest in science.
- ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome.
