Oaklands Global are currently looking to recruit an experienced Simulator Maintenance Engineer (Sim Engineer) to join our client on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of up to four commercial Full Flight Simulators (FFS).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and assist in troubleshooting simulator systems.
- Run Qualification Test Guides (QTG).
- Conduct basic visual alignments, minor repairs (soldering/crimping), and pre-flight checks.
- Manage parts logistics and handle customer service support.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of electrical/electronic systems and fault diagnosis.
- Experience with flight simulator systems.
- HNC/HND in Avionics or Electrical & Electronic Engineering is a plus.
- Previous experience with Boeing/Airbus simulators or similar systems is desirable.
Shift Pattern
12-hour shifts on a 4 on, 4 off pattern. Flexibility is essential.
