Oaklands Global are currently looking to recruit an experienced Simulator Maintenance Engineer (Sim Engineer) to join our client on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of up to four commercial Full Flight Simulators (FFS).

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and assist in troubleshooting simulator systems.
  • Conduct basic visual alignments, minor repairs (soldering/crimping), and pre-flight checks.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of electrical/electronic systems and fault diagnosis.
  • HNC/HND in Avionics or Electrical & Electronic Engineering is a plus.
  • Shift Pattern: ~12-hour shifts on a 4 on, 4 off pattern.
