Oaklands Global are currently recruiting a Maintenance Manager (UK CAA) on behalf of one of our leading clients based in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed engineer—either B1 or B2—who has experience leading teams and is now ready to step into a broader management role, or an existing Maintenance Manager. It is worth noting that this is NOT a postholder role.
What you’ll be doing:
- Oversee maintenance operations across designated line stations in the UK
- Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft maintenance in line with UK CAA Part 145 requirements
- Lead and mentor engineering teams, supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Work closely with planning and logistics to minimise downtime and maximise aircraft availability
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
What we’re looking for:
- UK CAA Part 66 B1 or B2 Licence (any type rating considered)
- Proven leadership experience in a line maintenance or supervisory role
- Strong understanding of line maintenance procedures and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A team player with the drive to grow into a future postholder role (if desired)
