Oaklands Global are currently recruiting a Maintenance Manager (UK CAA) on behalf of one of our leading clients based in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed engineer—either B1 or B2—who has experience leading teams and is now ready to step into a broader management role, or an existing Maintenance Manager. It is worth noting that this is NOT a postholder role.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Oversee maintenance operations across designated line stations in the UK
  • Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft maintenance in line with UK CAA Part 145 requirements
  • Lead and mentor engineering teams, supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement
  • Work closely with planning and logistics to minimise downtime and maximise aircraft availability
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What we’re looking for:

  • UK CAA Part 66 B1 or B2 Licence (any type rating considered)
  • Proven leadership experience in a line maintenance or supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of line maintenance procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A team player with the drive to grow into a future postholder role (if desired)
