FULL ONSITE ROLE – NO HYBRID WORKING AVAILABLE
Oaklands Global is currently looking to recruit a P145 Safety & Compliance Manager for a reputable client based in the Southeast of the UK. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced aviation safety and compliance professional to play a pivotal role in shaping standards, culture and continuous improvement across the Part-145 maintenance organisation and FBO operation.
Reporting directly to the Accountable Manager, you will own and evolve the Safety Management System and Compliance Monitoring framework, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership while leading a high-performing safety and compliance team.
Responsibilities:
- Champion a positive, just and safety-driven culture across the business.
- Lead internal, external, customer and regulatory audits with confidence and credibility.
- Drive continuous improvement by managing findings, corrective actions and best-practice processes.
- Shape and maintain company procedures, standards and approvals, including the MOE.
- Oversee certifying staff authorisations, competency and training frameworks.
- Lead risk identification, safety investigations and performance reporting.
- Act as the focal point for regulatory engagement and senior stakeholder liaison.
- Manage and develop the safety & compliance team, setting clear objectives and direction.
- Fulfil the Safety Manager role for the FBO in line with IS-BAH requirements.
Qualifications:
- A CAA/EASA-acceptable Form 4 postholder with strong Part-145 and IS-BAH knowledge.
- A confident leader who can influence at all levels and embed a strong safety culture.
- Proven experience in audit management and regulatory engagement.
- Recognised auditing qualification; Part-66 AML advantageous but not essential.
- Comfortable using audit management tools.
- Organised, analytical and commercially aware, with a collaborative leadership style.
