Oaklands Global are currently seeking experienced Licensed Aircraft Engineers (B1 or B1/B2) to conduct regular Line Maintenance activities for a reputable MRO based in the UK. Please note, you MUST hold the right to live and work in the UK.
Location: Southeast UK
Roster: 7 on / 7 off | Early & Late Shifts | No Nights
This is an excellent opportunity to work a stable 7/7 roster with no night shifts, supporting modern long-haul aircraft with ongoing type training.
Requirements- UK CAA or EASA Part-66 B1 or B1/B2 License
- Must hold a B777 or B787 type rating
- A330 and/or A350 type ratings desirable
- Right to live and work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
- Recent and relevant line maintenance experience
- Strong understanding of Part-145 requirements
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced operational environment
- Additional type training will be provided where needed
- Certification of aircraft for return to service in accordance with regulations
- Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance activities
- Fault diagnosis, defect rectification, and troubleshooting on live aircraft
- Review and interpretation of technical documentation (AMM, MEL, SRM, IPC, ADs, SBs)
- Defect management, technical log completion, and accurate documentation control
- Liaising with MCC, Operations, Flight Crew, and Engineering Support teams
- Supervision and support of mechanics and non-certifying staff
- Ensuring compliance with safety, human factors, and company procedures
- Participation in aircraft turnarounds, AOG support, and operational recovery
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant working environment
