You’ll support learners from initial enquiry all the way through to programme completion — ensuring every individual receives a high-quality, personalised experience. This is a key role in a transformative part of our provision, launched in 2024 to meet the needs of modern learners and employers.
Oaklands has delivered life-changing education for over 100 years — and now we’re growing fast to support more people than ever.
Your Day-to-Day Impact
As a Learner Engagement Executive, you will be at the forefront of our Skills Bootcamps, managing the learner journey from start to finish. You’ll respond to enquiries from learners and referral partners, providing accurate and engaging Information, Advice and Guidance to help individuals make informed choices about their learning options. You\’ll screen applicants for eligibility, guide them through the onboarding process, and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.
Once learners are enrolled, you will be their key point of contact, offering ongoing support and pastoral care throughout the course. You’ll track their progress, help solve any challenges that arise, and maintain all compliance paperwork, ensuring funding requirements are met. You’ll also collect and upload learner evidence at key milestones, keeping records accurate and up to date.
Relationship building is central to this role. You’ll work closely with referral partners such as Jobcentre Plus (JCP), third-sector organisations, and internal Oaklands teams including business development, admissions, and marketing. You’ll also represent the college at outreach events and networking opportunities to raise awareness of our programmes and recruit new learners.
At the end of each programme, you’ll have the rewarding task of celebrating your learners\’ achievements by issuing certificates and collecting valuable feedback to improve the learner experience.
