Lecturer in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

Full Time / Permanent contract

Based at the Welwyn Garden City Campus

Salary banding – Full Time – SP 23 – 37 (£29,603 – £44,778 per annum) plus the market supplement of up to £5,000

We are looking to recruit outstanding Lecturers within Electrical/Electronic Engineering. If you have a genuine passion for engineering, are relentless in your pursuit of quality, and want to help shape both the current and future workforce, then we want to hear from you! We are even open to offering training to applicants that are not qualified teachers!

We invite applications for qualified Lecturers or industry experts to join our successful Engineering Department as a lecturer in Engineering. We are keen to hear from candidates who are looking to pass on their skills to up-and-coming learners who have a keen interest in this industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Teach a range of Engineering programmes at Level 2, 3, and 4 within the classroom and workshop.
  2. Deliver apprenticeship programmes, full-time level 2 and 3, HNC/D & T Levels.
  3. Participate in a structured induction programme, paired with an experienced mentor.
  4. Engage in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) opportunities.

Required Skills/Experience:
For the delivery of Electrical and Electronic Principles, Micro-Controllers / Process Control, Electronic Measurement and Testing, Programmable Logic Controllers, Industrial Power Electronics, and Storage.
