Birmingham Public Schools is seeking a long term Psychologist substitute from early February to mid April. This is a full time position at West Maple and Beverly Elementary Schools.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certificate
- Masters Degree in School Psychology preferred
- Experience and training in administering and interpreting psychological evaluations within an educational setting
- Knowledgeable of Special Education rules and regulations
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with students, parents, staff, and administration
- Must demonstrate ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively with parents and professionals
- Strong technology and organizational skills
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to facilitate and mediate meetings with parents and school teams to best support students
