Are you genuinely passionate about marketing? Not just interested. Obsessed with it. Curious about what works, why it works, and how to make it work better. Oakland is a fast-growing data and AI consultancy based in Leeds. We help organisations unlock the power of their data across strategy, engineering, analytics, and artificial intelligence. Now we’re looking for a Marketing Executive to work closely with our Head of Marketing to help rocket-charge our brand.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the fundamentals of marketing and wants the freedom to grow. Ideally, you'll have some commercial marketing experience, either through a placement year, internship, or your first role in marketing. What matters most is initiative, enthusiasm, and commercial curiosity. This is not a role for someone who needs micromanagement. It is for someone who sees a gap and fills it. Who spots an opportunity and runs with it. Who wants to build something, not just maintain it.

The role is fast-paced and varied. No two days are the same. You’ll help plan and deliver creative, multi-channel B2B campaigns. You’ll support and run high-quality professional events. You’ll promote market-leading thought leadership in data and AI. And you’ll work alongside experienced consultants, gaining real exposure to how a modern consultancy grows. You’ll collaborate with our external digital agency to execute targeted campaigns across LinkedIn, email, paid media, and emerging channels. You’ll review campaign data, track performance, and use insight to optimise activity. You’ll help ensure marketing contributes directly to business growth and pipeline development.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Can take ownership of HubSpot and help us turn it into a growth engine.
  • Has the confidence to help run digital and email campaigns alongside targeted B2B events.
  • Is highly organised, proactive, and great at making things happen.
  • Understands creative B2B marketing, digital trends, and emerging platforms.
  • Is excited by AI and keen to explore how AI-powered tools can enhance campaigns, content, and audience engagement.
  • Wants to learn fast, think commercially, and contribute to a small, ambitious team.
  • Has some creative skills - some experience with Canva, basic video editing skills, strong on visuals in PowerPoint are all examples of this.

In return, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a high-growth consultancy, real responsibility from day one, and a clear pathway to expand your skills and impact. At Oakland, we are never dull; we move fast; we think big. And we expect our marketing to do the same.
